About Lundin Norway

Good ideas paid off

“An unforgettable moment!” This is how the three winners of Lundin’s ‘idea competition’ summarised their trip to Edvard Grieg. A visit to the platform was the first prize in the contest.

We hire recent graduates

Over the past few years, the oil and gas industry has been in a situation where recent graduates with relevant backgrounds have been unable to get jobs. In order to contribute to necessary recruitment for our industry, we are offering contract positions so that three recent graduates can obtain relevant work experience.

Oil discovery in the southern Barents Sea

Lundin Norway has made an oil and gas discovery on the Loppa High in the southern Barents Sea. The discovery well was drilled in the Filicudi prospect in PL533. Filicudi is located about 160 km off the coast of Finnmark County, northwest of Hammerfest.

The Edvard Grieg field grows larger

The reserve estimates for Edvard Grieg have already been increased twice since production started in November 2015. Data from a recently drilled appraisal well indicates yet another resource increase, estimated at between 10 and 30 million barrels of oil equivalents.
